This past Tuesday, Brendon Leslie hosted another great podcast at Seed to Table, co-hosted by Drew-Montez Clark and Patrick Dearborn. This week’s podcast featured Florida’s Conservative Voice intern, Claudia Szurkowski.
During this week’s episode of the Patriot Talk Show, Claudia opened up about tragically losing her father on 9/11. Claudia began by sharing with our patriots that her father, who worked for a contracting union, tragically passed away while working in the Twin Towers on 9/11. She went on to share the impact that the tragedy of 9/11 had on both her and her family. Claudia concluded by stating, “9/11 doesn’t define me but I’m shaped by it.”
Claudia commented, “My mom was 4 weeks pregnant with me when my dad passed away on 9/11. One thing that’s different about my story than a lot of other people’s is that he wasn’t supposed to be there. He didn’t work there in an office, he worked for a contracting union and he was assigned there that morning for a few hours and he never made it home.”
Thank you to everyone who tuned in to this week’s podcast. Join Brendon Leslie and his co-hosts for the next podcast at Seed to Table and live streaming every Tuesday at 7pm. We hope to see YOU there!
