FORT MYERS (FCV) – As fear mongering ramps up in left-wing circles in response to the emergence of the Omicron variant of COVID-19, Florida has remained the state with the least new cases per capita.
According to the New York Times, Florida has 3 new cases per 100,000 residents this past week, the lowest of any U.S. state. Close behind Florida are red states like Alabama, Texas, and Louisiana.
California is not far behind Florida, with 8 new cases per 100,000, demonstrating that freedom-centered health policies do not cause COVID-19 outbreaks.
In the past two weeks, Florida has seen a 53% reduction in new COVID-19 cases and a 11% reduction in hospitalizations.
Despite its elderly population, Florida is 0.09 deaths per 100,000 below the national average.
The new Omicron variant has caused Democrats to dredge up panic in their circles and online echo chambers. President Joe Biden (D) said that he expects “everyone” to get fully vaccinated with booster shots to be the “new normal.”
Biden remarked that lockdowns are off the table “for now,” despite the president and governors lacking authority to unilaterally enact lockdowns.
Vaccine manufacturers and the Biden Administration are ready to “update” existing COVID-19 vaccines.
The Omicron variant has not been proven to be more deadly. In fact, evolutionarily, COVID-19 is more likely to mutate into more transmissible, less deadly variants.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has indicated that no lockdowns will be instituted in the state in the future, and the new Florida law signed by DeSantis enacts further restrictions on the government to impose mandates.
